The very moment Songoroo recognises any user´s presence in your business, it adjusts the music playlist according to this users music taste. Due to various technical and personal data protection reasons, you need to run the Songoroo app for at least a few seconds so that our system can recognise your exact location. If you are close enough to one of the Songoroo enabled locations, system logs you in automatically.
First of all, Songoroo mobile app allows you to see all other Songooo app users in the same location as yourself. You can see the information about them which they decided to share with the others in their public profile and of course what kind of music they like. If you find somebody you know or simply like, you can dedicate a song of your choice to them with a personalised message which they receive as a notification on their mobile phones. It is then up to them whether they want to open a discussion with you or not. You can also receive a notification from the business owners or send them back your feedback by using the feedback form in the app.
Yes. Go to Menu, Personal settings and turn off the notifications if you want. You can decide whether you want to turn off all notifications or just those from the venue owners or those from the other users. However, there is no option to turn off the notifications from one particular person, so consider your choices carefully. You might be loosing the opportunity to receive music dedications from someone who could become your friend or even the love of your life.
Yes, Songoroo is creating a unique atmosphere by mixing the music tastes of people who are all physically present in the same Songoroo enabled place at the same time. The process of influencing is then either running automatically by detecting your favourite music from the app, or manually by the users playing with the app and using its features.
